Ingrid Trollope | Interactive Designer
Hello there, my name is Ingrid Trollope and I’m an Interactive designer from New Zealand now based in London, England.
Currently I work as a Interactive Designer at Google in London.
Previously I worked as a Design Specialist at Nokia. Before this I was at British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) in the Research & Concept Development team as a Senior UX Designer.
I have also spent two wonderful years employed at the BBC in the Future Media & Technology Design team Visual/UX as an Interactive TV Designer.
My first permanent role in the UK was at Mind Candy as a Interactive Designer on Moshi Monsters – an interactive online project aimed at the youth market. Mind Candy previously developed one of the first commercial Alternate Reality Games (ARGs) Perplex City.
When l lived in New Zealand I worked in various new media & web design agencies. Including an Interactive Designer position at Intergen, a software development company. And at Tasman Studios as a Senior Digital Designer.
I have a Bachelor of Design, majoring in Interactive Design, from Massey University’s School of Design in Wellington.
I also have much experience contracting and consulting via my company,
Trumpet Design.
Personal Statement
‘With an infatuation for interactive media, I love working in the area between geekiness and creativity.
I enjoy many areas of design, and am interested in how the web can create varied and rich on-line experiences that are useful for companies and individuals.’
