As the visual and Interactive TV designer on this project I was responsible for the creation and delivery of the required broadcast graphics for each platform with the number of streams available.
BBC Radio 1′s Big Weekend utilised the BBC ‘Red Button’ service with Satellite and Cable viewers able press the red button to watch bands play live on the various festival stages. Highlights of the performances were then shown afterwards on the Red button service.
The design of all ITV products had to be consistent with the 2009 ‘BBC Radio 1′s Big Weekend’ branding and complement the existing online and graphics.
