November, 2006 – Trumpet Design

The New Zealand fashion label Katnip Industries required a brand to reflect the distinctive, quirky yet sophisticated characteristics of their collections. The brand needed to enable them to differentiate themselves within the highly competitive fashion industry.

A simple organic typeface coupled with a striking black, white, and purple color palette creates a modern yet crafty graphic style. The inclusion of an illustrated pair of cats ears is a detail that often raises a smile.

    Currently I am working as an Interactive Designer at Google in London.

    Previously I was a Design Specialist at Nokia.

    Before this I was at BSkyB in the Research & Concept Development team as a Senior Designer.

    Earlier, I spent two wonderful years employed at the BBC in the Future Media & Technology Design team as a Visual/UX and Interactive TV Designer.
